
Recently the first world cyber-Cup "Cybathlon" was navigated in the capital of Switzerland. "Cybathlon" it’s the competitions among athletes with disabilities. The team of Innovative territorial cluster "Zelenograd", named "Neurobotics" under the command of the head of the company Vladimir Konyshev coped with the task in under two minutes, showing the second result on time and finishing in fifth place in the overall standings.
The championship was held in six nominations among the participants with the power leg prostheses; interface "brain-computer"; the race of athletes in power exoskeletons; competition on bicycles with the office by electric stimulation of the muscles; race to electrified wheelchairs and testing of power prosthetic arms. In each category there were two winners – the pilot-athlete and the manufacturer of assistive devices.
Russians were the most successful in passing the route with difficult terrain with the help of active leg prosthetics (LEG). But the tight spring intrigue in the championship was spun at the track where a paralyzed person passed the track with the help of the interface "brain-computer" (BCI). It was the competition of the future. The team "Neurobotics" coped with the task in under two minutes, showing the second result on time and finishing in fifth place in the overall standings.
It’s interestingly that the company "Neurobotics" have already started training for this high-tech promising sectors. In the framework of career guidance classes organized by the "development Corporation of Zelenograd", the management company of the same name of an innovative cluster for students, It was developed a special programme aimed to the training of Zelenograd students at programming and neurpilotage of robots, and in the long term - to the development of neuroscience, anthropomorphic robotics and robotic products.
