Almost 5000 people in Zelenograd bathed in the ice-cold lakes and ponds over the night of January 18-19, braving the freezing winter temperatures to celebrate the Orthodox Christian holiday of Epiphany.

To the School and Black Lake there were about two thousand citizens at night.

Next day more than three hundred citizens swam in the Black Lake.

Groups of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations traditionally ensured safety of health and life of zelenogradets.
