The festive program devoted to the Day of Moscow traditionally started in Zelenograd on September, 1 by the Pioneer Constructors Memorial. Anatoly Smirnov, ZelAO Prefect, pioneer constructors, veterans, deputy prefects, district administration heads and other officials took part in the festive meeting and flower-laying ceremony.

At 16.00 the festive manifestation of Zelenograd administration, city organizations, municipal services, social organizations, public organizations and educational institutions representatives walked along the Central Prospect. The costume plays and “Zelenograd Fanfare” band festival added special atmosphere to the manifestation.

A wide festive program was on in the Park Pobedy. 12 thematic sites as well as youth, veteran, family, scientific, business, and circus sites and the sites of all 5 Zelenograd districts were presented. Ministry of Emergency Situations division also gave a show.

The festive events were closed with the picturesque fireworks in the Park Pobedy.
