“Vivat Pobeda” Moscow International Military Song Festival

On April 28–30 the 15th “Vivat Pobeda” (“Vivat Victory”) Moscow International Military Song Festival took place in Zelenograd culture centre. The competitive programme included three nominations: “Singer-songwriter”, “Professional Songwriter”, “Vocal-instrumental Ensemble”.

The festival annually gathers up to 150 participants, and its geography is expanding. Performers and bands come from Moscow and Moscow region, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Tajikistan, Latvia, Czech Republic and different regions of Russia. Zelenograd citizens are permanent participants of the festival too.

Traditionally, the participants along with the veterans of Great Patriotic War laid flowers to the Glory Monument at the 40th kilometer of Leningradskoe highway.

The grand prix of the festival was presented by Zelenograd prefect A. Smirnov to “Lada” folk group of Kurgan.
