“Otrazhenie”   (“Reflection”),   the IV Open Moscow Youth Films Festival, was held on November 1-4 in Zelenograd.

“Otrazhenie” has always been the festival of new ideas and creativity. It allows to evaluate everything in the youth cinema industry that is the best and worth paying attention to. Also it is the good chance for the young spectators to see many new and popular movies for free.

There are many film festivals in Russia but most of them are held in summer therefore movies released in autumn often escape the festivals. So “Otrazhenie”  gives these movies the opportunity to be displayed and evaluated by public.

The final ceremony of the festival was held on November 4th, 2012. More than 15 prizes in various nominations were awarded by the panel of judges to the winners.

Grand Prix of the festival in “The Best Movie For Youth” nomination was awarded to the movie “My boyfriend is an angel” by Vera Storozheva. The prize was handed to the director by Prefect Anatoly Smirnov, Chairman of the Festival Organizational Committee.  Prefect and Alla Surikova, Head of the Panel of Judges, congratulated the winner and wished her further success. According to Alla Surikova, the winner was elected unanimously both by the Youth Panel of Judges and the Expert Council.

The Final Ceremony was presented by the singer  Olesya Yaroslavskaya and Aleksey Yagudin, the figure skating Olympic champion. At the end of the ceremony a magnificent LED and fire show was presented by the best masters of “Universal Fire Carnival”, the major Moscow festival of street theatres.
