Moscow will host events of Global Entrepreneurship Week on November 12-18. It is a wide-range international event covering 125 countries and aimed at forming of entrepreneurship culture and developing of entrepreneurial potential among young people.

In 2006 the action started in the UK, then in the USA in 2007. Since 2008 the Week has become an international event, including Russia.

The main purpose of the Week is to promote innovative entrepreneurship, cooperate and exchange entrepreneurship ideas and knowledge.

The action takes place annually at the same time – last month of autumn. The Week joins together more than 40 000 events and 10 million participants.

The Global Entrepreneurship Week events in Russia are supported by RF Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policies, Federal Agency of Youth Affairs, RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry, RF Public Chamber, etc. In 2012, The Department of Science, Industrial Policies and Entrepreneurship of Moscow takes major part in the Week.

More than 70 companies and organizations participating in the Week will conduct 163 events from 12 to 18 November, such as forums, conferences, round tables and workshops, trainings and seminars devoted to development of entrepreneurship in youth environment. The action will become an excellent opportunity for both parties to exchange ideas, knowledge and contacts for establishing and developing of innovation companies.
