December 5-7, 2012, Zelenograd presented innovative cluster at SEMICON Japan

 Zelenograd presented innovative cluster at SEMICON Japan on December 5-7, 2012. Such participants as innovative and territorial companies and start-ups Zelenograd, innovative development territory Moskvich and Troitsk Technopark were included in the cluster. It was presented at the joint booth organized by Moscow City Government that allowed about 20 Moscow entities to participate at preferential rates. Most of them were Zelenograd start-ups and sound research and manufacture companies Angtrem, NII TM and NPK “Technology Center”. MIET.

Main innovative business sites of Zelenograd were also presented, these being Specialized Small Business Territory, Zelenograd Business Incubator and Special Economic Zone Zelenograd, the latter suggested the initiative to establish this kind of “economic embassy” of Moscow to major international events that will profit to Zelenograd innovative territorial cluster.

Zelenograd participants followed two goals at SEMICON Japan: to show themselves and to look at others. Young companies brought their research projects hoping to attract attention of potential partners and customers.

Moscow City Government delegation headed by Alexey Komissarov, Head of Science, Industrial Policies and Entrepreneurship Department, and Mikhail An, his Deputy, had several important meetings at the booth. After the meetings Alexey Komissarov said that Moscow Government would patronize SEMICON Russia 2013. He also added that a one-day forum that normally took place one day before SEMICON opening would possibly take place in Zelenograd based on Zelenograd Prefecture. This would allow Zelenograd companies’ managers and employees to participate in the forum.
