Moscow State Academy of Business Administration became a known center of Russia sustainable development research. During these 10 years five international workshops on the problem that were recognized by educational society of Russia and other countries were held in the institution.

This year Academy’s Eurasian Center of Sustainable Development has won Russian Humanitarian Academic Foundation grant for 2008.

The head of the Center, Academy’s scientific vice-principal, professor Mamedov Ph.D. told that the finances received would be aimed at research study named “The base for Russia transferring to sustainable development. Sociocultural and philosophic aspects of the process”.

The study includes the following directions: social and economic situation in Russia, country’s culturological characteristics, philosophic and metodological background for Russia transferring to sustainable development.

The All-Russian conference on the topic is to be held on 2009.
