Zelenograd scientists were awarded on two of the highest awards of Russia – award of the President and Government of Russia for the first time in the history of Zelenograd town this year. The Ceremony of presenting state awards took place on Russia Day in the Kremlin. Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation presented awards. Gennady Krasnikov, Director of JSC «Mikron», academician of RAS was among laureates of the state prize for achievements in science and technologies for 2014. The award was given for designing semiconductor structures with controlled and stable electrical parameters for today's microelectronic manufacturing.

Alexander Stempkovsky, academician, Director of the «Institute of problems and design in microelectronics» led the team that was engaged in the production of microchips for industrial electronics, banking and social cards. Scientists carried out a series of holistic development: from basic technological processes prior to the introduction of new products into production with the design norms of 180 and 90 nanometres. The scientists have awarded the prize of the Government of the Russian Federation for these developments.

The award of the Government of the Russian Federation also presented:

· Nikolay Shelepin, doctor of technical Sciences, first Deputy General Director of JSC «RIM»;
· Nikolay Shcherbakov, Deputy General Director for production of JSC «RIM and Mikron»;

· Sergey Ranchin, head of production of the JSC «RIM and Mikron»;
· Vladimir Shelepov, head of Department No.3 JSC «Mikron»;

· Pavel Ignatov, the chief designer of the elemental base of the JSC «RIM»;
· Alexander Kravtsov, the head of Department of development of integrated circuits JSC «RIM»;
· Constantine Mytnik, head of Department of smart cards of the JSC «RIM»;
· Sergei Gavrilov, head of Department of «The Institute and design in microelectronics»;
· Leonid Pereverzev, technical Director of the company «Alfachip».

Anatoly Smirnov, Prefect of Zelenograd said that manufacturing was the most important brunch  of modern technology and stay suchlike today

Young scientists of Moscow - Dmitry Telpuhova, Ruhlova Vladimir and Galina Ivanova have been nominated for the award of the Government of Moscow at  2015 year-end for the development of new methods for resynthesis of combinational integrated circuits.

«The results of the contest haven't been made yet, but we are proud of our young researchers», – said Anatoly Smirnov.
