Zelenograd has become the first Russian town in which large-scale integrated circuit (LSI) of single-chip magnetic encoder and converter integrated circuit were developed.

IC is a complete single-chip solution for determining the position of the different rotating objects (eg motor shaft), which can operate with a speed of up to 14 000 rev. / Min.

Encoder is a steering angle sensor, by which the position of the rotating axis (shaft) is determined. Zelenograd development comprises a sensor system on the Hall element (sensor which detects a magnetic field and outputs the analog voltage). Also, the integrated circuit is provided with a digital data processing unit. LSI calculates the position of the code by the magnetic field analysis. The prototypes are ready. As for research and adjusting, they are continued.

Developments will be available in the second half of this year.
