Zelenograd factory "Angstrem-T" completed commissionings and launched the trial operation of the deionized water preparation station (CDO) to support manufacturing processes.
Water is a critical component in the manufacture of microelectronic products. For the single microchip production with a weight of 2 grams requires about 32 litres of water. It is used for preparation of chemical solutions, etching products and other operations in the technological process, as well as to wash the crystals on the plate.
Ultrapure water (SCHV) type E-1 is the ultrapure water with a reserve in the transition from basic technology 90 – 130 nm. more modern with the topological size 65 nm. and below is made on "Angstrem-T".
The partner of "Angstrem-T" in creating the CDO became the world famous company Hager+Elsasser (H+E). Since the Foundation in 1932, H+E has developed solutions in the field of physico-chemical water treatment and purification for more than 4 thousand enterprises in different countries and industries.
"The creation of stations of ultra-pure water for the new plant is one of the priority projects H+E in Europe. The process from installation to the commissioning and startup took more than one year, we brought in our best experts to work on the station. The quality of deionised water is a key factor in the production of semiconductor products, as 30% of the operations involved in cleaning surfaces of silicon wafers," stated Director of the Russian company direction H+E Eugen Martens.
