The First Festival of Science was held for the guests of the scientific event in Zelenograd. The exposition of the several schools, national research University «Moscow Institute of electronic technology», urban research and production enterprises, centres of scientific and technical creativity of youth of Zelenograd are located on two floors of college No.1557. Soap-bubble show and «Entertaining physics», performance of the electrical experiments of Tesla, interactive show «Electricity and magnetism» were shown  the guests of the festival. Interesting master classes in  science and medicine were performed. 

City Duma delegate, Chairman of Committee of Council of Federation on science, education and culture Zinaida Dragunkina took part in the opening ceremony of the event.

«The intellectual and creative development of children and adolescents are of high priority. We discuss options for the revival of the stations of technical creativity, young naturalists, centers of development of children and youth technical creativity. We, together with the Committee of the Federation Council on science, education and culture decided to send a small group of talented guys from Moscow on vacation to Slovenia recently. The group consists of 50 people, 10 of whom are representatives of Zelenograd district», – Zinaida Dragunkina told.

The head of the Department of science and industrial policymakers of the Prefecture of Zelenograd district Mikhail Savinov said that the The Festival of Science of Zelenograd became the first massive event   in  the territory of district.

«This is the perfect place where you can communicate, discuss, develop and promote their projects», – Mikhail Savinov told.

Also, the 6th Fair of Scientific-technical and innovation ideas and projects of youth «The RHYTHM of Zelenograd» was held on the basis of The Festival of Science.

Students presented their projects in several nominations:

- «electronics and electrical»;

- «energy saving technologies»;

- «technologies and materials»;

- «IT- technologies»;

- «ecology and rational nature management»;

- «technical design and environmental design».

Special nomination "My first steps in science" was announced for primary school students.

The Festival of Science of Zelenograd was held at the Moscow Festival NAUKA0+. The Department of Education of the city of Moscow, Department of Science, Industrial policymakers and corporate enterprise of Moscow, the Prefecture of Zelenograd district and administration of area Savyolki were the organizers of the Festival of Science. Partners of popular science event were college No.1557, MIET, «Micron», JSC «GAC «Milandr», KP «Development Corporation of Zelenograd».
