An enterprise for the production of rubies and sapphires from synthetic materials will be built in Zelenograd. This was announced by the chief architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov.

– The laboratories will create optimal conditions for the formation and growth of crystals, – said Sergey Kuznetsov.

The layout of the building was influenced by the features of the technological process and safety requirements. On the first floor there will be office and technical rooms, on the second –production and staff rooms, on the third – offices for laboratory research and tests.

Much attention will be paid to the safety and comfort of personnel, for this purpose the company will install the most modern engineering systems.

Production of precious stones from synthetic corundum will appear in «Alabushevo». As previously noted by Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the special economic zone is of interest to those who are going to develop high-tech production and engage in innovation.

Synthetic corundum is an artificially grown mineral. All synthetic varieties are called the same as natural stones, because they are created from the same chemicals.
