On the 4th and 5th of September Zelenograd people celebrated the Town Day. Traditionally, it started in Yunost square, next to the commemorative token for the first builders of Zelenograd.
Holiday procession along Tsentralny Avenue was another tradition for the Town Day.
After a short welcoming speech of prefect A.Smirnov the main programme of the holiday started in the square next to Zelenograd recreation centre.
In the park named after the 40th anniversary of the Victory the grounds of all the five municipalities were opened with table hockey, look-alike show, amateur performance, master classes in beading and painting etc.
One of the most expected shows was fire-fighters display. The holiday was culminated with the fireworks.
The second day of the celebration was continued with outdoor festivals and sports events.
