On October 31th IBM Corporation, NPO “Angstrem” and “Angstrem-T” signed the Commercial Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding in Technology Innovations Development issues. The documents were signed within the framework of Moscow International Forum “Open Innovations”.

IBM shall issue the 90nm IC manufacturing license. Based on it “Angstrem is planning to launch manufacturing of microelectronic devices such as microchips and sensors to be promoted into industrial and consumer segments. Besides the license “Angstrem” will receive from IBM the design rules required to establish contract manufacturing and will offer Smart Foundry services to Russian and foreign customers.

In its turn, The Memorandum of Understanding shall determine the terms of cooperation in studies and research based on innovation technologies.
