In Volzhskiy the Volgograd region passed the Championship of Russia in Greco-Roman wrestling among young men 1999-2000.

More than 600 best fighters of Russia at the age of 14-15 years arrived on a final stage of competitions.

The national team of Moscow was supported by 5 pupils of sports school of the Olympic reserve of State Budgetary Institution SShOR No. 111 of Zelenograd: Allakhyarov Yanvar (38 kg), Allakhyarov Anwar (42 kg), Radzhabov Gadzhy and Olkhin Nikita (47 kg), Ismailov Mezhid (73 kg).

Nikita Olkhin became the bronze prize-winner of superiority in weight category to 47 kg.
