The great holiday of our country – Victory Day celebrated in Moscow on May 9.

Movement on the Central square of Zelenograd did not stop since morning. Military parade on the Red Square broadcasted on live air was on the big screen. Amateur groups Zelenograd appeared on the scene.

Parade of cadet classes of the schools of Zelenograd began at 5:00 PM. The cadets marched in front of the crowd in the square with spectators.

Prefect of Zelenograd Anatoly Smirnov made a speech in honor of the holiday.

"Time inexorably moves deep into the history of the world's most brutal war. But time has no power over the memory of the people, if they are from generation to generation pass on their gratitude and admiration for the heroism of the people, who defended their country and the world from humiliation and bondage", – said Anatoly Smirnov.

Alice Mon, Olga Zarubina and other popular artists and ensembles performed in front of veterans.

A moment of silence was given at 7:00 PM, after which the concert continued into the evening until the fireworks.
