The head of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev visited one of the largest state enterprises of Russia "Angstrem-T", which is located in Zelenograd.

The Prime Minister was shown a model of the enterprise, told about it’s history, production, and demonstrated the product, which the company plans to release.

The Prime Minister had a tour of "Angstrem-T" acquainted with the modern Russian production of microelectronic products.

After that Dmitry Medvedev held in the company "Angstrem-T" a meeting on the future development of the domestic microelectronics market.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, presidential aide Andrei Belousov, Minister of communications and mass communications Nikolay Nikiforov, Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev, Minister of transport Maxim Sokolov, Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the Chairman of External economic Bank Sergey Gorkov, General Director of JSC NIIME Gennadiy Krasnikov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of group of companies "Angstrem" Leonid Reiman, the heads of state corporations and industrial enterprises took part in the meeting. General Director of "Angstrem-T" A. Sukhoparov welcomed guests.

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin gave instructions to Russian companies about the consolidation of the state order for manufacture of modern microchips and microelectronics . The results of the implementation of the presidential orders and the prospects of expanding the market for domestic microelectronics industry were discussed at the meeting. Also at the meeting they talked about measures of state support aimed at the development of the microelectronics industry in Russia.
