National Research University of Electronic Technology "MIET", located in Zelenograd has improved it’s position in the National rating of Russian universities in 2016. Scientific-technical University occupied the 28th place last year. The University  walked back three positions, finishing in the 25th place in this year. Press-centre of the University informs.

A special project of the Interfax group conducted a study that examined the activity of the 238 universities in the Russian Federation. National Research University of Electronic Technology "MIET" also entered the top ten of Russian universities in "Innovation and entrepreneurship" (ninth position). The University took the 4th place for private value assessment of Research and Development (R&D).

The University must have high performance in six areas: education, research, social environment (socialization), international activity (internationalization), innovation and entrepreneurship, brand to get into the national University rankings.

"MIET" has also entered to the top 300 of best universities of the BRICS countries.
