Forbes Editorial Board presented its first own rating of universities. The rating takes into account not only the quality of education, research, international and financial activities, but also assessment of career prospects for students. Among the criteria that formed the basis of calculations: the average salary of graduates, the presence among them of billionaires and their heirs, successful officials, board members of the largest Russian and international companies.

The data were used as a basis for monitoring the performance of more than 600 institutions of higher education prepared by the Ministry of Education.

In the final list were 100 universities. As reported in the press center of NIU “Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology”, university took the 21st line, ahead of the Moscow Aviation Institute, the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University “LETI” and Tomsk State University.

In addition, according to the “Quality of Education” parameter, MIET ranks 6th among all universities and 3 place among National Research Universities.
