A student of a foreign state's first doctorate in

Graduate MIET Jo Zo E from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar became the first foreign student of the University of Zelenograd, which defended the doctoral dissertation. The ceremony of awarding the diploma on awarding him the degree of doctor of technical Sciences was held a few days ago, the Scientific Council of the scientific and technical University, the press centre of MIET.

Jo Zo E defended his doctoral dissertation in September of last year on the topic: "Theoretical foundations and implementation methods to ensure the reliability and technical diagnostics for the improvement of process control systems in the energy sector".

Earlier, the Vice-rector for international activities and youth work MIET Dmitry Kovalenko said that the leading University of Zelenograd, has developed a strategy that would by 2019 increase the number of foreign students doubled. The number of foreign students is one of the most important indicators in international rating of universities.

"MIET" also plans to significantly expand the magistracy – this will require the construction of a new residence on the Solnechnaya avenue. Vladimir Bespalov, the rector of the University talked about this earlier.
