18.04.2008 | Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of France Stanislas de Laboulaye visited MIET. Mr. de Laboulaye was accompanied by the delegation of embassy representatives, businessmen and French reporters. The visit was aimed to nanotechnology achievements of the university scientists. After the reception at MIET rector RAS corresponding member Yu. Chaplygin (it included the university and its research programs presentation) the delegation visited "Nanotechnologies in electronics" public centre, Nanoelectronics hardware components laboratory as well as Cadence and Synopsys companies training facilities.

10.04.2008 | Zelenograd´s delegation participated in Russian-Bavarian "Bavaria as a "window to Europe" for Russian companies" conference which took place on April, 4th in Munich (Germany). During the event the participants could exchange views, study foreign colleagues´ experience as well as listen to the speeches. First deputy prefect of Zelenograd A. Mikhalchenkov who headed the delegation made a presentation which described the long-standing friendly and partnership relations of Zelenograd and Unterschleissheim. Representatives of Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry´s Zelenograd branch and head of Zelenograd Centre for entrepreneurship development M.Scherbakov also took part in the conference.

25.03.2008 | Zelenograd prefect A.Smirnov welcomed Zelenograd´s twin-city Tulsa (Oklahoma, the USA) delegation. The guests has come to take part in Zelenograd semicentenary as well as to discuss the prospects of further cooperation in social and educational spheres, business and high technologies. The delegation consisted of the head of "Tulsa Globals Alliance" association I.Krivtsova, "Tulsa Globals Alliance" association board director I.Boyd, representative of Tulsa business intelligentsia M.Boyd. Our participants were the deputy prefect A.Nemeryuk and the head of Zelenograd social development administration M.Tishinyova.

17.03.2008 | In Zelenograd prefecture the tripartite agreement of Zelenograd twin-city Unterschleissheim (Bavaria, Germany), Zelenograd AD and Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry about Moscow business centre building in Unterschleissheim was signed. The president of Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry L.Govorov stressed the fact that it is a long stride towards Russian-German relations development. It is the first example in Russia, Germany and perhaps Europe when small and medium business enterprises invest in building export. Zelenograd enterprises are among the project initiators and first participants.

The third Moscow-Bavarian student school MB-JASS 2008
06.03.2008 | From February 26th till March 5th the third Moscow-Bavarian student school MB-JASS 2008 (Moscow-Bavarian Joint Advanced Student School) took place. It was one more step towards cooperation of our countries. For the first time Belarusian and Armenian students took part in the school as well. The participants were greeted by deputy prefect S.Gagin, Munich technical university professor, German director of MB-JASS doctor Ernst Meir and representatives of sponsoring companies ProCurve Networking, Siemens and Synopsys.

Today is the 50th Anniversary of Zelenograd!
03.03.2008 | The 3rd of March, 1958 is considered to be the birthday of Zelenograd. On this day the Council of Ministers of the USSR adopted the resolution on building city satellite of Moscow in the region of the station Krukovo belonged to the October railway. Intensive city construction works started in 1962. In order to establish a complex microelectronics center in 1962 the city was transferred under authority of the State Commitee on Electronic Engineering . On 15th of January 1963 The Executive Committee of Moscow decided to name the new city Zelenograd.

13.02.2008 | On the 12th of February the head of Bavaria Ministry of Economics mission in Russian Federation Bernd Pantze visited Zelenograd and met deputy prefect A.Telminov and head of Zelenograd Centre for entrepreneurship development M.Scherbakov. During the meeting future development cooperation of Zelenograd and Bavaria regions and Unterschleissheim city particularly in the field of high technologies were discussed.

05.02.2008 | On February 7-8 the "Innovative Zelenograd" workshop conference which is devoted to Zelenograd´s semicentenary will be held. The conference is organized by Zelenograd´s prefecture for analizing the innovation development level of Zelenograd and proposal development of its boosting. The conference program provides for plenary session and information visit to Technopark structures of Zelenograd as well as SEZ "Zelenograd" territory. During the event industry enterprises and small research and technology companies will demonstrate their solutions, inventions and progress.

25.01.2008 | Eugeny Balashov is a new name in Moscow government and Science and Industrial Policy City Board. Last December he took up his duties as deputy minister and deputy head of the Board. He is in charge of innovations as well as realization of "Moscow innovation system development" target program. Visit to Zelenograd became a step forward to the program development as Zelenograd plays a key role in it.

24.12.2007 | «NIIME i Mikron» OJSC of «Citronics» IT concern and Zelenograd reconfirm their being unofficial centres of Russian microelectronics. Both the city and the production facility were highly praised by first vice premier Sergey Ivanov during the opening ceremony of the plant for microchips of 0,18 micron layout level production.

Those who want to receive daily news of Zelenograd prefecture as well as Citizens service centre and business organizations news to their mobile phones can subscribe to SMS news. There is also the opportunity to find out by SMS the traffic situation at Leningradskoe highway on routes Zelenograd-Moscow and Moscow-Zelenograd.

13.11.2007 | The delegation from Mongolia (the mayor of Ulan Bator Ts.Batbayar, the governor of Chingeltei region B.Ochirbat, the ambassador extraodinary L.Khangai and other highlight officials) visited Zelenograd. The guests attended Technopark "Zelenograd" and familiarized themselves with "Zelenogradvodokanal" company. The mayor of Ulan Bator was especially interested in environmental equipment as the problem of pollution became the question of the day in their city.

Zelenograd international theatre festival
26.10.2007 | On the 2-7th, November 2007 the second Zelenograd international theatre festival will be held. Four professional theatres from Great Britain will take place in it. Also there will be performed "Vedogon´" theatre´s play "Teddy in the Knapsack" (directed by Guy Holland, Great Britain). The festival is supported by British Council and Zelenograd prefecture.
