The team of biathletes of Russia finished second in the relay 4 x 7.5 km at the end of the relay at the fifth stage of the world Cup which was held in the German city of Ruhpolding. Zelenograd`s athlete Matvey Eliseev has played in the national team of Russia in biathlon.

The Norwegians ahead of biathlonists of Russia (an advantage in 5.1 seconds). Alexey Volkov, Anton Shipulin, Matvey Eliseev and Anton Babikov ran the distance in 1 hour, 13 minutes, 40.7 seconds.

Athletes from Germany took the third place.
