Moscow schoolchildren won gold and silver medals at the International geography Olympiad, which was held in Beijing from 16^th to 22^nd August 2016. The press service of the Department of education of the Moscow informed about it.

"The pupils of school No. 1454 Oleg Jelezniy won the highest award , and the student of the Lyceum "Second school" Alexander Varentsov won a silver medal," - said the press service.

The Russian team won four awards at the International geographical Olympiad.

Previously Moscow students won two gold medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics in Kazan.
