To revive the stele "Atoms of peace" is planned for the 60th anniversary of Zelenograd. Previously Stella was on Panfilov Avenue and was subsequently dismantled during the reconstruction of the road. Now it is installed on the turning circle between the "MIET" and "Angstrem". The contest results were announced. The contractor is defined, which will prepare the design-budget documentation. The auction winner was JSC "Zelenogradprojekt". The development of the project will be completed by June 2017.

Contest new stele "atoms for peace" was held among designers "MIET" last year. Then the projects were presented to the heads of Zelenograd enterprises during a meeting of the Board of Directors of organizations of science and industry of the district. The decision was made as sketches to use the work of Natalia Nikitushkina. It is proposed to build a stele with a height of slightly less than 11 meters. The pedestal and the pillars will be made of polymer-concrete ring – stainless steel coated with titanium nitrite in bronze.

The competition for the best design sketch of the stele "atoms for peace" was held in Prefecture of Zelenograd in November last year.
