From 1 October to 30 November the Prefecture of Zelenograd District is holding the Hackathon developers contest "Encode for Zelenograd."

The basis for the development of Hackathon "Encode for Zelenograd " is supposed to be the city and state open data - that is, information which is collected by all levels of authorities . The hub of open data in Zelenograd can be found at opendata.

During this time the contestants are offered to learn how to work with public open data, gather the teams, put forward their ideas, discuss their use and to present them in the final of the Hackathon.

The Hackathon “Encode for Zelenograd” Final will be held on November 30, 2013. During this event the young programmers , designers, developers will together discuss and come up with useful  Internet services and mobile applications based on open data, that is to be created for Zelenograd residents.

The winners will be awarded not only their prizes, but-what is more important- the attention to their developments from the Prefecture representatives, investors and large IT companies.
