For the first nine months of 2020, the total investment in the pharmaceutical industry in Moscow amounted to 4.98 billion rubles. Slightly more than 80 percent of them were residents of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone.

– Investments of high-tech enterprises-residents of Technopolis in the production of drugs and materials used for medical purposes this year have grown more than five times compared to last year and exceeded 4 billion rubles. The total share of investments of companies of the special economic zone for the nine months of 2020 in this segment is 81 percent, – said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

Now on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone seven pharmaceutical industries are localized, specializing in the production of drugs against oncology, neuropsychiatric and autoimmune diseases, disorders of the musculoskeletal and respiratory systems, as well as products for ostomy patients and biomedical cell products for skin and soft fabrics.
