Ruslan Basyrov, an ambulance doctor of the general field brigade of substation No. 57, spoke about the situation with morbidity in Zelenograd.

– Ruslan, has the number of ambulance calls increased recently?

– The number of calls, of course, has increased, as the pandemic is growing again, but we are coping successfully thanks to the experience gained during the first wave of coronavirus. At the same time, our load always increases seasonally.

– Does the current situation differ from the spring one?

– By the number of cases – no. But there is a noticeable increase in the number of infected among young people. If in the spring many elderly people were sick, now there is a clear preponderance towards the age of up to 35 years. This is most likely due to the fact that older people are more disciplined. They strictly adhere to the recommendations of doctors about the mandatory wearing of masks and gloves in public places. Younger people are more negligent about their health.

– What, in your opinion, are the main causes of diseases this fall?

– People are very relaxed. Especially those who have not yet been affected. I emphasize: YET! Masks and gloves are being worn less and less in public places. Hands are not always treated with an antiseptic. People forget to keep the recommended distance in stores and malls. I would like to encourage everyone to take their health more responsibly! Also, taking advantage of the summer holidays, many rushed abroad and brought us a lot of «foreign» coronavirus from there. I would say this: there are many causes, but the main is one. This is irresponsibility!
