NIIME I Mikron company which is the parent enterprise of CITRONICS Mikroelektronika business line was visited by the delegation of France regions’ chambers of commerce and industry. The delegation contained members from Paris, Normandy, Colmar, Alsace, Grenoble, Saint-Etienne, Bordeaux, Auvergne as well as representatives of Paris and France chambers of commerce and industry in Moscow.

The visitors inspected the white room for production of microchips with 180 nm technology, RFID tickets and microchip modules assembling department as well as control laboratory. They also discussed future ways of cooperation with Mikron representatives.
in 2006 Mikron signed the agreement of cooperation with STMicroelectronics company (France – Italy), one of semiconductor industry world leaders. It resulted in Mikron constructing the production of microchips of 0.18 my layout level by EEPROM advanced technology, with more than 40 companies from 10 countries taking part in the project. In 2009 the cooperative project with Rosnano state corporation in Mikron constructing the production of microchips of 90 nm technology.
