The World Olympiad of robots "World Robot Olympiad" took place in China (Nanning)  in which more than 500 children from 16 countries and more than 150 commands have taken part, including combined team from Zelenograd. Its structure included pupils Interschool option (laboratory) of a robotics. In spring 2006 robotics of Zelenograd won superiority of Russia on LEGO-robots and achieved the right to represent Russia on WRO-2006.

 

Children collected complex model of the football player. It was necessary not only adjust the program for the robot, but to collect it from LEGO-details. Our command was the first, whose robot was ready to competitions. This model was the best among Russian and participated in command superiority in 2-nd day of competitions.

 

In a nomination "The Line with obstacles" the model of N.Beliovskiy was the best; more truly, it was the unique model which reached the finish. The certificate for the best performance, letters - all this combined team could achieve such success in history of participation of Russia in "WRO" for the first time.
