On Victory Day, May 9 a traditional flashmob action "VKS Russia’s welcome" will take place on the Central square of Zelenograd.

The main idea of the action – to greet the pilots of the aviation part of the Victory Parade on Red square, which will fly over our city and in just a few seconds will be the main military Parade in the country.

All participants will line up in the shape of the red star, a symbol of ATT (air force) of Russia. Red star will gain at the expense of balloons that will be handed out at the venue.

«Zelenograd is a unique district in Moscow, where you can monitor the migration of military aviation of Russia on Parade in Red square. So a year ago there arose an idea to gather the inhabitants of the district to the Central square to welcome our air force. We don't know if the pilots saw us, but we are sure that they knew that Zelenograd come out to greet them: common people of different social categories said their "Thank you" thus to those who daily protect our borders! I believe that this year the number of participants will increase», - said one of the organizers Natalia Solovyova.
