Young scientists from MIET have become the Moscow Government

The mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin on the eve of Day of Russian science, presented awards to the laureates of the Moscow Government for young scientists. In 2015 the competition for the prizes of the Government of Moscow was held for the third time.  According to the press service of the University, young scientists of scientific-technical University MIET Zelenograd were  included into the 48 winners.

In the nomination "Technical and engineering" for the work of the scientific team were awarded the following members: Maxim Silybin (candidate of technical Sciences, associate Professor, Department of electronics materials functional MIET) and Dmitry Kiselyov (MISIS). The award was received for significant contribution in research of lead-containing and lead-free piezoelectric materials, thin films and nanostructures, materials with high Electromechanical coupling, multiferroic, polymeric and composite materials.

Alexey Belov, the doctor of technical Sciences, Professor of Department of materials for the functional electronics, has become the winner in the nomination "New materials and nanotechnology". Over the past 10 years under his leadership a number of projects in the development of technologies and equipment for the creation of nanoscale elements of integrated electronics and Microsystems technology was successfully implemented. The scientific work of Alexei Nikolaevich repeatedly been noted by the Russian President with the grant for young candidates of science (2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015).

In 2015, the total number of prizes to young scientists in the capital has tripled from 10 to 31. The size of each of them is one million rubles. There were 379 applications, and the winners were 48 people.
