In Zelenograd VI traditional marathon "Run and We" took place. It has been devoted to 64-th anniversary of the Moscow fight. 189 persons from 34 subjects of the Russian Federation, and also Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Estonia and Montenegro participated in run. 164 sportsmen (143 men and 21 women) went on a start of a classical distance - 42 km of 195 m.  147 runners (130 men and 17 women) have finished it. 25 runners have initially chosen one of shorter informal distances - from 7 up to 21 km.

It is necessary to note the participation of 20 sportsmen from Zelenograd in run. Three from them ran a full marathon.

 

The oldest sportswoman, the overcome 42 km of 125 m for 6 ч. 20 minutes 35 сек., there was 79-years Raisa Nikitina (Protvino, the Moscow region), and among men - 71-years Nikolay Nechaev (Kamenolomny of the Rostov region). Participation in the marathon Nikolay Alekseevich honoured the memory native uncles on a parent line which were lost in fights, protecting Moscow in 1941.

 

The VI Zelenograd winter marathon "Run and WE" has grown in comparison with the last year on 56 persons, and on representation - on 15 subjects of the Russian Federation.

 

In the All-Russia rating which considers more than 60 marathons of the country, the Zelenograd marathon on results 2005 will confidently borrow the ninth line. And among winter run will borrow the second line. We concede only to a legendary and oldest marathon in the country "Road of life". It has passed in St.-Petersburg already in 36-th time and has collected 190 sportsmen on start. In Zelenograd in the final judicial report it has appeared on one person less.
